Recruitment 24/7 is working with an established company who specialises in Asian food products to all major retailers in the Australian and New Zealand market. Their warehouse is located in Archerfield Brisbane, and they are looking for a motivated and hard-working Storeperson to join their team.

Duties:

• Accurately assemble and dispatch orders within the required turnaround time, ensuring professionalism and responsibility.
  
• Load and unload vehicles and containers as needed.
  
• Complete orders by selecting items from shelves and cross-checking with appropriate lists.
  
• Receive goods by carefully inspecting them against delivery dockets.
  
• Document and report any damages or discrepancies in goods to the Warehouse Leading Hand.
  
• Catalogue or label items with appropriate storage details.
  
• Handle returned and damaged goods in accordance with company policies.
  
• Operate forklift machinery following the company’s safety guidelines.
  
• Maintain the allocated forklift and other company assets under your care.
  
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of storage areas as per the scheduled housekeeping plan.
  
• Adhere to all necessary Quality Control procedures in your role.
  
• Comply with relevant OH&S rules and regulations outlined in the company’s policy.
  
• Pick and pack frozen goods orders in both freezer and ambient environments.
  
• Perform stock-taking or cycle counting duties as required.
  
• Undertake additional tasks outside your regular duties when instructed by the Warehouse Leading Hand.
  
  Skills Required:
  
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  
• Valid forklift license
  
• Physically fit with the ability to perform medium to heavy manual tasks
  
• Strong team player
  
• Basic awareness of food handling procedures
  
• Customer-focused mindset
  
• Basic literacy and numerical skills
  
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  
  Licence:
  
• Forklift licence (Required): Forklift driving in large areas and small confined spaces.
  
  Work Eligibility:
  
• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident)
