Precast Team Leader

Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Precast Team Leader for our Redbank-based Precast client.

This position is full-time permanent, with a salary dependent on your skills and experience.

This role is responsible for achieving effective and efficient manufacturing operations within the Precast team in accordance with safety, quality, production, human resources, costs, and environmental procedures.

Reporting to the Production Manager you will oversee all aspects of the Precast Team.

Responsibilities:

Safety and Environment

• Ensure daily inspections are conducted on any mobile plant and raise any maintenance or repair issues.
• Embedding quality control procedures.
• Ensure WH & S requirements are understood, implemented and monitored.
• Maintain a safe and clean production work environment
• Conduct daily prestart toolbox meeting.
  
  Quality
• Ensure each concrete delivery documents are reviewed, signed and additions noted (e.g. water added) and provided copies to the Ops team
• Regular inspections of all daily jobs to ensure quality and timeframes are maintained.
• Adhering to instructions on work orders and drawings.
  
  Production
• Responsible for leading and coordinating the production of assigned concrete elements including staff allocation to achieve production within the allocated timeframe.
• Maintain production records.
• Lead efforts to ensure production scheduling is adhered to
  
  Requirements:
• Strong attention to safety and quality
• Excellent communication skills
• Civil construction experience is favorable.
• Team player.
• Sound computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to deliver quality results.
