Diesel Mechanic

Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Diesel Mechanic for our client based at Yatala. This position is full-time permanent, working the hours of 7:30 am -3:30 pm Monday to Friday. We are offering a competitive permanent pay rate of $40/ hr to $46.50 dependant on experience and brand exposure.

Our client will also consider candidates who are only seeking a casual position

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete work instructions as directed.
  
• Assist in completing job reports to ensure an accurate record of tasks completed .
  
• Undertake and perform all appropriate pre-delivery tests and inspections to ensure client satisfaction.
  
  To be considered for this position:
  
• Appropriate Trade Qualification.
  
• Practical working knowledge of the operation of our client’s machinery, tools, and equipment.
  
• Sound knowledge/ familiarity with Western Star, MAN trucks & Busses, Dennis Eagle, Detroit. Experience with these would be highly advantageous.
  
• Experience in European truck brands- Volvo, Mack, Scania or Kenworth
