Field Labourer- Arboriculture

Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Field Worker (Arboriculture) for our Ipswich based client. This position is temporary starting as an 8 week appointment, working 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. This position is part of the Arboriculture teams and is responsible for tree maintenance around the city. Works can include tree pruning, removal of dead branches and chipping. Demonstrated experience in tree maintenance and pruning will be advantageous.

Mandatory Requirements for this position:

• MR Licence
• White Card (Construction)
• Chainsaw ticket
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening

Duties include but are not limited to:

• General labouring within the Arboriculture teams
• Undertake arboricultural maintenance activities in accordance with adopted standards and guidelines
• Operate specific arboricultural machinery including woodchippers, elevated platforms and chainsaws
• MR Truck driving
• Move between multiple arboriculture teams depending on resourcing requirements
• Adhere to all WHS policy, procedures, guidelines and legislations
