Diesel Mechanic

Recruitment 24/7 has multiple vacancies for a trade qualified Diesel Mechanic for our client based in Wacol, Lytton and Yatala. Our client operates within the Storage and Warehousing industry, and they are looking for Diesel Mechanics to join their team.

This position is full-time permanent, working the hours of 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Our client is offering a competitive permanent payrate of $40 - $46/hour, which will be determined based on skills, experience and brand exposure.

Our client is willing to consider candidates who are only seeking a casual position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete work instructions as directed
• Assist in completing job reports to ensure an accurate record of tasks completed
• Undertake and perform all appropriate pre-delivery tests and inspections to ensure client satisfaction

To be considered for this position:

• Appropriate Trade Qualification (Diesel Mechanic)
• Practical working knowledge of the operation of our client’s machinery, tools, and equipment
• Sound knowledge and familiarity with Western Star, MAN trucks & Busses, Dennis Eagle and Detroit – experience working with these brands would be highly advantageous
• Experience in European truck brands- including Volvo, Mack, Scania or Kenworth
