Garden Labourer

Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Field Worker (Streetscape) for our client based in Ipswich.

This position commences as a temporary placement, commencing 28/07/2025 and is expected to conclude on 31/10/2025. This role offers full-time hours, working 6:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

This position is part of the Garden Maintenance Works and is responsible for garden care around the city. Works can include weed control, litter collection, planting, mulching and other related garden maintenance duties.

Mandatory Requirements for this position:

• Hold a Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent experience
• Hold a General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) White Card
• Be fit and healthy, capable of passing a FIT Test
• Hold a current MR Licence (highly advantageous, not mandatory)
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test

Duties include but are not limited to:

• General Streetscape Garden Maintenance Works in accordance with adopted standards and guidelines
• Weed control
• Litter collection
• Brush cutting
• Backpack blower operation
• Mulching
• Tree planting
• Other garden care related tasks
• Adhere to all WHS policy, procedures, guidelines and legislations
