We’re currently seeking a Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join a well‑established and fast‑paced workshop. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well, and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

🛠️ About the Role

As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a range of heavy vehicles, including:

• 🚚 Kenworth
• 🚛 Mack
• 🚚 Freightliner
• 🚛 Western Star prime movers
• 🛻 Flat top & drop deck trailers

You’ll also play an important role in maintaining accurate and compliant records in line with NHVR Maintenance Accreditation requirements.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• 🔧 Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• 🧰 Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
• 📝 Accurately completing service records and compliance documentation
• 🤝 Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines
• 🧹 Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace

👤 What We’re Looking For

• 🎓 Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• 🚛 Experience with heavy vehicles, particularly prime movers & trailers
• 🗣️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• 🤜🤛 A proactive team player with a positive attitude
• 📋 Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• 🦺 Commitment to safety and high‑quality workmanship
