Recruitment 24/7 is currently seeking a Casual Warehouse Store person for our client located in Wacol. This role offers consistent weekday hours with the flexibility of casual employment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety focused, and comfortable working in a busy heavy vehicle parts warehouse.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Store person with a LF forklift, you will support daily warehouse operations, assist with parts handling, and ensure accurate and efficient order processing. You’ll work within a fast paced environment where attention to detail, safe manual handling, and excellent customer service are essential.

Casual Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Casual Pay Rate: $33.38 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities:

Parts & Warehouse Operations

• Picking, packing, and dispatching spare parts
• Unpacking and shelving incoming stock
• Quality and quantity checks on parts received
• Manual handling up to 20kg
• Using trolleys, pallet wrapping, and forklift operation
• Reading and interpreting parts orders
• Completing required warehouse paperwork
• Working collaboratively with warehouse and sales teams
• Maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and customers
• Delivering parts as required and operating company vehicles safely

Customer Service

• Providing updates on order and delivery timeframes
• Supporting customer requirements and resolving basic queries
• Ensuring timely and professional follow through on customer needs
• Assisting with customer concerns within scope

Administration

• Reviewing picking slips, price lists, and documentation
• Recording work tasks and customer interactions when needed
• Completing workplace documentation accurately

Work Health & Safety

• Complying with all safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work procedures
• Reporting hazards or safety concerns
• Participating in safety and compliance training

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Good communication skills
• Sound basic maths skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads
• Current driver’s licence
• Experience in the heavy vehicle, truck, trailer, or parts industry (highly regarded)
