Warehouse Manager – Ipswich
Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced warehouse leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and knows how to build high‑performing teams? Our client is seeking a motivated Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations, drive efficiency, and create a safe, organised, and customer‑focused workplace.
This role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team, shape warehouse processes, and make a real impact on overall branch performance.
Role Purpose
As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all warehouse operations while inspiring, mentoring, and developing your team. You’ll be responsible for productivity, safety, staffing, workflow, and continuous improvement. This is a hands‑on leadership role with a strong focus on organisation, communication, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate and oversee daily tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Manage workloads, staffing levels, quality control, and workflow planning
- Lead daily toolbox or team meetings with staff and supervisors
- Oversee stock movement—receiving, despatch, returns, and procedural compliance
- Handle HR responsibilities such as recruitment, performance management and, where required, disciplinary actions
- Improve waste management processes and efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with Workplace Health & Safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Maintain forklifts, vehicles, equipment, and machinery
- Manage cleaning rosters for the warehouse, office, amenity areas and yard
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify improvement opportunities and help build a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications & Licences
Essential
- Current Open Australian Manual Driver’s Licence
- Current Forklift Licence
- First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
Desirable
- Diploma in Logistics & Warehousing Operations or Frontline Management
- Current MR Truck Licence
Experience & Skills
Essential
- Strong experience in warehouse operations and supervising or managing teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain calm, professional and organised
Desirable
- Experience within manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and modern warehouse technologies
Personal Competencies
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Australian work visa
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment
- High ethical standards, confidentiality and professionalism
