About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Road Works Supervisor to support civil construction and road maintenance projects across the Wulkuraka and greater Ipswich area. This casual role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on leadership, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in delivering safe, high‑quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily road construction and maintenance activities
• Lead, mentor, and support onsite crews
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and project standards
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and local stakeholders
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
• Manage equipment, materials, and resources to meet project timelines
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience supervising road works or civil construction teams
• Strong knowledge of road construction methods and safety regulations
• Confident leadership and communication skills
• Ability to problem‑solve and make sound decisions onsite
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Relevant tickets (traffic management, plant operation) are highly regarded
• Current driver’s licence
