Job Opportunity: Plant Machine Operator (Dozer / Dump Truck / Excavator)

Pay Rate: $39.05/hr, Casual
Location: Ipswich, QLD

We are seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Plant Operator to join our Client's busy operational team. This role involves operating a range of heavy machinery including dozers, dump trucks and excavators to support daily site activities. - About the Role

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery to complete earthmoving, excavation, loading and material handling tasks. You’ll work closely with site supervisors and other operators to ensure work is completed to required standards and timelines.

- Key Responsibilities

• Operate dozers, dump trucks and excavators safely and efficiently
• Complete earthmoving, excavation and loading tasks as directed
• Conduct daily pre‑start checks and report faults or hazards
• Follow site plans, SWMS and WHS procedures
• Maintain awareness of site hazards, vehicles and personnel
• Assist with general site duties and clean‑up when required
• Complete timesheets, plant checklists and required documentation
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any damage or issues

- What We’re Looking For

• Experience operating dozers, dump trucks and/or excavators
• Relevant machinery tickets and/or competencies (mandatory requirement)
• Construction Induction White Card (mandatory requirement)
• Strong understanding of earthmoving and site operations
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and physically fit for outdoor work

- Additional Requirements

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Capacity for extended periods of machine operation
• Ability to meet fatigue management requirements
• Pre‑employment medical or drug and alcohol testing may apply
