Full-Time $120,000–$150,000 + Super

Recruitment 24/7 is partnering with a leading manufacturing operation in Larapinta to source an experienced and disciplined Production Manager. We are seeking a strong leader who thrives on structure, accountability and building a high‑performing production environment.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Production Manager who can take full ownership of factory performance across safety, quality, output and team leadership. This is a senior operational role where you will lead multiple functions and drive a consistent, disciplined production rhythm across both day and afternoon shifts.

This position suits someone who understands that great manufacturing performance is built on standards, planning and follow‑through.

Key Responsibilities

• Full accountability for factory performance: safety, quality, output and efficiency
• Daily and weekly production planning and execution
• Establishing strong production rhythm and shift handover discipline
• Coordinating production and maintenance to maximise uptime
• Ensuring dimensional accuracy, assembly quality and first‑time‑right outcomes
• Managing labour efficiency, productivity and cost control
• Leading and developing supervisors and production teams
• Providing clear, data‑driven reporting on performance

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will have:

• Implemented a consistent daily and weekly production rhythm
• Reinforced WHS standards and corrective action discipline
• Strengthened coordination between production and maintenance
• Stabilised quality outcomes with clear standards

Ongoing success includes:

• Zero LTIs and strong WHS compliance
• Predictable output delivered to plan
• High machine availability
• First‑time‑right manufacturing with minimal rework
• Improved labour efficiency and controlled overtime

About You

We are seeking a structured, disciplined production leader who brings:

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or production
• Strong understanding of machinery, workflow and quality control
• Confidence leading teams across multiple functions and shifts
• The ability to uphold safety, quality and output standards
• Commercial awareness around labour efficiency, waste and rework
• A methodical approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement

Experience in steel framing, roll‑forming or engineered manufacturing is highly regarded but not essential. Leadership capability and production judgement are the priority.

This Role Won’t Suit You If

• You are comfortable with variability, rework or missed targets
• You avoid enforcing standards or addressing performance early
• You rely on reactive firefighting rather than disciplined planning
