Position Details: MR Truck Driver
Locations: Rocklea, North Lakes, Ormeau – QLD
Payrate: Starting at $33.80/hr casual (dependent on skills and experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, hours vary between 4:30am – 4:30pm
Employment Type: Ongoing, Casual (potential for permanent placement)

About the Role

As a truck delivery driver, you’ll work closely with operators and offsiders to carry out day‑to‑day deliveries of materials to site. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and being part of a tight‑knit crew.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Drive HR or MR trucks to worksites to perform deliveries
• Physical and repetitive labouring tasks
• Load and unload trucks
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
• Adhere to road safety laws and fatigue management regulations

Requirements:

• Must hold a current MR truck licence – (MR Licence or equivalent)
• Have a minimum of 12 month’s proven on-road driving experience
• Physically fit and able to safely lift over 16kg as part of daily manual handling
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working closely with an offsider and independently when required
• Reliable transport to site for early starts (Public transport is not available)
• Prior experience with deliveries, construction sites, or removalist work (advantageous but not mandatory)
• Valid Forklift Licence (highly advantageous, not mandatory)
