Position Details: Forklift Operator
Locations: Rocklea, North Lakes, Ormeau – QLD
Payrate: Starting at $33.21/hr casual (dependent on skills and experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, hours vary between 4:30am – 4:30pm
Employment Type: Ongoing, Casual (potential for permanent placement)

About the Role

Looking for a stable, ongoing position with full-time hours? Recruitment 24/7 is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for ongoing positions across Rocklea, North Lakes, and Ormeau. Our Client are seeking confident and reliable forklift operators who take pride in their work to join their busy warehouses across Brisbane.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials for dispatch
• Assist with general warehouse labouring duties if and as required
• Load and unload trucks
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
• Adhere to all WHS

Requirements:

• Valid and current LF Forklift licence – (LF Class or equivalent)
• Have a minimum of 12 month’s proven operating experience
• Physically fit and able to safely lift over 16kg as part of daily manual handling
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working closely with an offsider and independently when required
• Reliable transport to site for early starts (Public transport is not available)
• Prior experience in warehousing (advantageous but not mandatory)
