Parks & Gardens Groundsman– Ipswich, QLD – ASAP Start

Pay Rate: $31.19/hr, Casual
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 12.00pm (5 hours/day)
Employment Type: Temporary, with potential ongoing work
Location: Ipswich, QLD

Position Details:

Recruitment 24/7 is seeking an experienced Parks & Gardens Groundsman for one of our valued clients at a well-maintained sporting complex. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, can work independently, and has some experience with grounds and machinery operation.

Key Duties

• Mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, and general grounds upkeep
• Turf maintenance across sporting fields
• Operating equipment such as ride-on mowers, tractors, brush cutters, blowers, and other machinery
• Basic irrigation checks and minor repairs
• Maintaining safe, clean, and well-presented grounds ready for training and events
• Managing your own daily tasks and working with minimal supervision

About You

• Previous experience in parks & gardens, landscaping, or grounds maintenance essential
• Strong confidence using a variety of grounds and horticulture machinery
• Able to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
• Physically fit, reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
• A positive work ethic and pride in quality presentation
• Certificate III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (highly advantageous, not mandatory)
