Plant Operator – Casual Position

Recruitment 24/7 is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Plant Operator to join our client’s team in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing casual work with a reputable and well-established company.

The successful applicant will support daily site operations and will be required to operate dozers, excavators and a water cart. Duties also include completing pre-start checks and basic machinery maintenance, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all Workplace Health and Safety and environmental requirements, assisting with general labouring tasks as required, and working closely with supervisors and other team members.

This role is suited to someone with a strong work ethic, a flexible approach to work, and a strong commitment to safety.

Essential requirements include current plant operating tickets for excavators, dozers or equivalent machinery, a valid driver’s licence (HR or higher preferred), demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery, and Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid Australian work visa.

Desirable requirements include VOCs for relevant machinery, water cart operating experience and a White Card.

Applicants must have proven experience operating dozers and excavators, a strong understanding of safe work practices, the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team, and be reliable, punctual and safety driven. Adaptability, good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude will be highly regarded.
