Recruitment 24/7 is partnering with a leading manufacturing operation based in Larapinta to recruit an experienced Production Manager. This is a senior operational leadership role suited to a disciplined and structured manufacturing leader who values accountability, consistency and high performance.

The role offers full ownership of factory performance across safety, quality, output and people leadership. You will lead a multi-shift production environment and be responsible for establishing clear standards, strong planning processes and consistent execution. This position suits someone who understands that strong manufacturing performance is built on planning, standards, discipline and follow-through rather than reactive firefighting.

Key responsibilities include full accountability for factory performance including WHS, quality, output and efficiency; daily and weekly production planning and execution; establishing strong production rhythms and disciplined shift handover processes; coordinating production and maintenance to maximise machine uptime; ensuring dimensional accuracy, assembly quality and first-time-right outcomes; managing labour efficiency, productivity and cost control; leading, developing and holding supervisors and production teams accountable; and providing clear, accurate and data-driven reporting on performance.

Within the first 90 days, success will look like implementing consistent daily and weekly production rhythms, reinforcing WHS standards and corrective action discipline, strengthening coordination between production and maintenance, and stabilising quality outcomes through clearly defined standards.

Ongoing success will be measured by zero lost time injuries and strong WHS compliance, predictable output delivered to plan, high machine availability, first-time-right manufacturing with minimal rework, improved labour efficiency and controlled overtime.

The successful candidate will be a structured and disciplined production leader with proven leadership experience in manufacturing or production. You will have a strong understanding of machinery, workflows and quality control, confidence leading teams across multiple functions and shifts, and the ability to set, enforce and uphold safety, quality and output standards. You will bring commercial awareness around labour efficiency, waste and rework, along with a methodical, data-driven approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Experience in steel framing, roll-forming or engineered manufacturing is highly regarded but not essential. Leadership capability, production judgement and accountability are key.

This role will not suit candidates who are comfortable with variability, rework or missed targets, who avoid enforcing standards or addressing performance early, or who rely on reactive firefighting rather than structured planning.
