Full Time Construction Contract Builder

Recruitment 24/7 is proudly partnering with a well established construction contract builder to source an experienced Machine Operator for ongoing projects across South East Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently, supporting site operations, assisting trades, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. You will play a key role in maintaining productivity on site while adhering to strict safety procedures and project requirements.

Responsibilities include operating machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements, assisting with general laboring and site support tasks, following instructions from supervisors, conducting prestart checks and basic machinery maintenance, adhering to WHS standards and company safety policies, and reporting hazards, equipment issues, or delays promptly.

We are seeking someone with proven experience as a Machine Operator in construction environment, relevant machinery tickets or licenses such as excavator, loader, roller, or skid steer, a strong understanding of safe operating procedures, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and someone who is reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. A White Card is mandatory.

This position offers a starting rate of $40.00 per hour plus full entitlements, ongoing work with a reputable builder, a supportive and safety focused team environment, opportunities to develop skills and gain further tickets, and exposure to a variety of projects across the region.
