Trades Assistant

Production Assembly and Manufacturing Assembler – Full Time Location: Bundamba, Brisbane QLD

$32.00 to $37.00 per hour based on experience.

Recruitment 24/7 is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to join a leading organisation specialising in industrial high pressure water blasting units, truck under body compressor systems, and generator systems. Their products are widely used across the mining, industrial, rental, and trade sectors and are known for their durability and performance.

About the Role This is a hands on, diverse, and challenging position suited to someone who enjoys working across a wide range of mechanical equipment. You will play a key role in the manufacturing team, ensuring products are assembled to completion and to a high standard. Structured training, including product specific training, will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities Assemble new components and machines to a high standard, following all QC processes Fit and mount components to trucks and trailers Maintain a professional and safe approach at all times Set guides, stops, and controls on machining tools and presses Install and commission machines and equipment as required Complete detailed quality control documentation for each job Report to the Workshop Manager or Leading Hand

About You will thrive in this role if you have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You must have or be able to demonstrate: Recent experience in mechanical assembly or similar Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and technical documents Experience with engine, pump, gear, and shaft assemblies (preferred) Trailer assembly experience (preferred) Small motor experience (desirable) 12V/24V electrical experience (desirable) Competency with general hand and power tools Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks High level of self motivation and initiative A safety first attitude Ability to maintain a clean and organised workspace

Advantageous Forklift license
