Supervisor (Electrician)

Recruitment 247 is seeking an experienced Supervisor (Electrician) to join a well-established Electrical/Mechanical team based out of Yamanto. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional looking for stable hours, a leadership-focused role, and the potential for extension beyond the initial contract.

Position Details

• Location: Yamanto Depot
  
• Hours: 6:15am – 3:00pm
  
• Start Date: ASAP
  
• Contract: Until the new Financial Year, with potential extension
  
  Key Responsibilities
  
• Deliver a range of electrical trade services, particularly across parks and facilities electrical assets
  
• Supervise and coordinate electrical contractors on site
  
• Manage service and work requests, including work order details
  
• Raise requisitions and purchase orders
  
• Maintain accurate records using an electronic document management system
  
• Liaise with customers and key stakeholders
  
• Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS policies, procedures, and legislation
  
• Attend various sites as required
  
  About You
  
  To be successful in this role, you will have:
  
• Demonstrated experience in general electrical maintenance
  
• Sound understanding of basic cost control principles
  
• Strong organisational and communication skills
  
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and manage work priorities
  
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  
  Mandatory Requirements
  
• QLD Electrical Worker Licence (Unrestricted)
  
• Current CPR & Switchboard Rescue certification
  
• Construction White Card
  
• Current C Class Driver Licence and own vehicle
  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol screening)
  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check
