Trades Assistant

Recruitment 24/7 are seeking several Trades Assistants / Product Assemblers to join our clients team based at Bundamba. ASAP starts on offer for the right people !

These are ongoing casual roles to start with working 38hrs a week from 7.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday with the view that after you have passed a qualifying period and dependent on our client’s needs at the time a Fulltime Permanent position may be offered.

Pay rate is $38.00/hr (casual) based on your experience for normal time hours worked. Overtime may be offered.

About the Role : This is a hands‑on, diverse, and challenging position suited to someone who enjoys working across a wide range of mechanical equipment. You will play a key role in the manufacturing team, ensuring products are assembled to completion and to a high standard. Structured training, including product‑specific training, will be provided to the successful candidates.

In order to be considered for these roles you must be mechanically minded with a strong attention to detail. You must also have the ability to work independently and also as part of a team as required.

It is desirable that you have had recent experience as a Trades Assistant / Product Assembler with the ability to use variety of handheld power tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assemble new components and machines to a high standard, following all QC processes.

- Fit and mount components to trucks and trailers

- Maintain a professional and safe approach at all times

- Set guides, stops, and controls on machining tools and presses

- Install and commission machines and equipment as required

- Complete detailed quality control documentation for each job
