Pay Rate: Casual – competitive rates of up to $35.00/hr (dependent on skills/experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (hours vary depending on workload)
Employment Type: Ongoing temporary, casual

Our client, a poultry producer, is seeking motivated and reliable Chicken Farm Labourers to join their operations. About the role:
As a Chicken Farm Labourer, you will be involved in the day-to-day care and management of poultry, ensuring high standards of animal welfare and farm hygiene.

Duties include feeding and watering birds, collecting and grading eggs where applicable, shed cleaning and equipment maintenance, assisting with health checks, vaccinations, and treatments, humane culling of birds when required in line with strict welfare protocols, and general farm upkeep.

What we’re looking for:
You must be physically fit and comfortable working in a farm environment, willing to handle poultry including culling when necessary, have a strong work ethic and attention to detail, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous farm or poultry experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
