Casual Field Worker Road Operations

$43.05 per hour

6:15 AM – 3:15 PM (76-hour fortnight equivalent)

Contract until September 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual Field Worker (Road Operations) to join our team based at the Yamanto. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining safe road conditions and supporting essential infrastructure works across the community. This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in contributing to community safety.

Key Responsibilities

Install and remove temporary fencing and barricading

Replace and maintain road signage

Set up and manage temporary signage

Respond to priority safety issues in the community and make areas safe

Perform other related road operations and maintenance tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a current C Class Driver Licence (mandatory), a valid General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) Card (White Card), a strong focus on safety and teamwork, and the ability to perform manual labour and work outdoors in varying conditions.

An MR (Medium Rigid) Licence would be advantageous.

Pre-employment Requirements

Completion of a pre-employment medical assessment and a satisfactory criminal history check are required.
