Position: Field Labourer – Asset Maintenance

Location: Yamanto, QLD

Payrate: $45.81/hr (Casual)

Employment Type: Temporary, casual – 14 Week Placement with potential for ongoing work

Hours: 4 day week | Flexible hours between 6:00am and 4:00pm

Join a dedicated Asset Maintenance Crew supporting the upkeep and improvement of community parks, facilities, and council-owned assets. We are seeking motivated Labourers who take pride in delivering high quality work and contributing to well maintained public spaces around our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist to carry out routine maintenance of community parks and facilities
  
• Maintain properties and construct, repair, or improve minor structures including fences, concrete works, shelters, and buildings
  
• Perform unplanned works to repair and restore facilities and equipment
  
• Conduct inspections on park equipment and assets, reporting outcomes and identifying maintenance needs
  
• Perform basic horticultural tasks such as turf care, pest management, and weed control
  
• Undertake general parks and gardens maintenance as required
  
  Requirements
  
• Current C Class Driver Licence and reliable transport to depot
  
• LR Licence (highly desirable, not mandatory)
  
• White Card (Construction Industry)
  
• Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening
  
• Ability to pass criminal history checks
  
• Fit and Healthy with capability to perform repetitive manual labour in outdoor environments
  
• Trade experience will be highly regarded
