Precast Concrete Industry | Full-Time Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a leading precast concrete manufacturing yard, operating a 16-Tonne LF Forklift. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused and reliable operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

About the Role

As a 16-Tonne Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, and storage of large precast concrete products throughout the yard and production areas. You will play a critical role, and will be working closely with production and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 16-tonne forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload precast concrete products to trucks and trailers
• Move concrete panels, molds and other precast products throughout the yard
• Assist with dispatch and receivals activities
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Follow all site safety procedures and policies
• Work alongside production and yard teams to meet daily targets
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Report equipment faults and safety concerns promptly

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
• Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts (16-tonne preferred)
• Experience working in precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, steel, or heavy industrial environments (highly advantageous)
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transport and strong attendance record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly Regarded

• Dogging or Rigging Tickets
• Experience handling oversized or heavy construction products
• Previous experience in a precast concrete yard
