Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an experienced Rostering Officer to join our Client’s growing team in Ipswich and play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive consistent, high-quality support services.
About the Role
As a Rostering Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating employee rosters, managing workforce availability, supporting onboarding activities, and ensuring staffing requirements are met across our services. You will work closely with clients, employees, recruitment, clinical, and operational teams to maintain smooth day-to-day service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain employee rosters to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
- Monitor workforce availability and identify staffing gaps.
- Coordinate roster changes, shift allocations, and staff replacements.
- Support onboarding activities for new employees.
- Liaise with recruitment and clinical teams regarding training and workforce requirements.
- Assist with payroll checks and verification of timesheets and attendance records.
- Coordinate transport of information between employees, clients, and internal teams.
- Respond to roster enquiries from employees and clients.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination, administration, or payroll support.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems effectively.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and workforce management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within the disability, aged care, healthcare, community services, or NDIS sectors.
- Knowledge of workforce planning and award compliance.
- Experience using TurnPoint Care (TPC) or similar rostering software.
