Recruitment 24/7 has numerous vacancies for Ground Workers/Labourers for our client based out of IPSWICH. These positions are casual roles for upcoming contracts working an average 38 hours per week Monday to Friday with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person after a set trial period.

Our client is one of SE Qld’s fastest growing environmental based companies. They are involved in offering a complete service including environmental, landscape architecture, arboriculture, horticulture and maintenance. With a variety of different contracts to keep them busy, these roles will require you putting in a hard day’s work.

Duties included in the above positions include but are not limited to:

• Operating commercial mowers

• Brush Cutting & Whipper Snipping

• Mulching Gardens

• General Labouring duties

• Planting

• Tree Work/Arborist Assistant

• Operation of the Chipper

To be successful for the position you must have:

• White Card (construction)

• Manual Drivers Licence & your own Reliable Transport

• Recent previous experience working outdoors

• Similar experience is preferred

• Be physically fit and able to carry out the work

• Be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test prior to commencement of work

• Have your own PPE including hard hat, long high vis shirt, long work pants, large water container (preferably a camel pack), steel capped boots, safety glasses, and gloves.
