Precast Production Foreman

Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Precast Production Foreman for our client based in Redbank.

This role is responsible for achieving effective and efficient manufacturing operations within the Precast Team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Precast Team in Redbank.

Responsibilities:

Safety and Environment

• Ensure daily inspections are conducted on any mobile plant and raise any maintenance or repair issues.
• Embedding and monitoring quality control procedures.
• Ensuring WH & S aspects are understood, implemented and monitored.
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
• Conduct daily prestart toolbox meeting.
  
  Quality
• Ensure concrete delivery documents are reviewed, signed and additions noted.
• Regular inspections of all daily jobs to ensure quality and time frames are maintained.
• Adhering to instructions on work orders and drawings.
  
  Production
• Responsible for leading and coordinating the production of assigned concrete elements.
• Lead efforts to ensure production scheduling processes are adhered to.
• Liaising with Production Manager and Steel Fixer Leading Hand on delays in production schedule.
  
  Requirements:
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 3 years’ experience as a Precast team leader.
• Past civil construction experience is favorable.
• Team player.
• Forklift licence.
• Mobile Crane licence (preferred)
• Sound computer skills.
