Extrusion Operator

Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a ‘Extrusion Operator’ for our client based in Ipswich. Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, and they are seeking an additional operator for their production team to start in January 2025.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion equipment to produce plastic products. Prior experience to this industry will be highly regarded.

Duties include:

• Operate extrusion machinery in accordance with safety protocols
  
• Monitor operation of machinery, making adjustments as needed
  
• Verify quality of parts produced by machinery
  
• Perform regular maintenance on extrusion machinery

To be considered, you must:

• Have the ability to operate extrusion machinery
  
• Have the ability to read and understand technical drawings
  
• Have knowledge of basic safety practices
  
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude
  
• Good understanding of 3D printing processes
